Brief Introduction to the Metro System Application Program of AOBO Industrial Ethernet

 I, Metro video monitoring system (CCTV)

As a kind of image communication, the closed circuit television (CCTV) system offers the unique functions of the visual and real-time dynamic image monitoring, recording, tracking and control and constitutes an important part of the communication command system. It possesses the unique command and management efficiency and becomes the necessary facility for the urban rail transit to achieve the automatic scheduling and management.

To suffice the demands of the metro monitoring system, the AOBO 60-G21-M06 Gigabit Ethernet backbone loop network industrial Ethernet switches that are developed by AOBO Telecom and have the high performance and reliability are used to create the backbone network. The optical fiber is selected as the transmission medium between the central level and station level to connect 100Mbps Ethernet interface. For the station level configration and other systems in the metro, AOBO 5 series of industrial Ethernet switches developed by AOBO Telecom are used to create the industrial redundant loop network.

II, Station environment and electromechanical equipment monitoring system (BAS)

The station environment and electromechanical equipment monitoring system (BAS) is a kind of automation control system of the electromechanical equipment that integrates the modern science and technology computer with its network technology. Its control objects are mainly the metro ventilation and air conditioning equipment, water supply and drainage equipment, normal lighting equipment and escalator and its main roles are to monitor and control the environmental quality inside the metro, satisfy the comfort requirements put forward by passengers under the normal conditions and release the accurate and reliable information to assure the personal safety of the passengers under the emergency conditions. Among these, the ventilation and air conditioning system of the metro engineering is totally different from that of the general above-ground building, because its temperature and humidity may be changed regularly, or randomly and irregularly due to the existence of the external disturbance. Therefore, the ventilation and air conditioning system capacity is large and complicated. In this event, if the computer control system is unavailable, it is impossible for the operators to control it artificially. Therefore, the industrial Ethernet switches are used in the overall monitoring system of the metro to create the industrial redundant loop network and furnish the safety guarantee.

III, Electrical equipment monitoring system of the metro station

The electrical equipment monitoring system of the metro station is divided into the central level, station level and local level and intended for the electricity monitoring of the station and system management at the central and station level. The station electricity monitoring system is to provide the comprehensive and effective automation monitoring and management of the electrical equipment positioned at each station along the whole line, ensure that the equipment is under the optimal operating state of the high efficiency, energy conservation and reliability, create a comfortable underground environment; under the state of emergency accidents, better coordinate the operation of the station equipment, give full play to the expected roles of electrical equipment and ensure the safe and normal operation of the whole line.

The central level electricity monitoring system consists of the central level ring LAN and the network contains relevant equipment, such as the primary/standby monitoring host, primary/standby server, archives management server, network switch (communication conversion interface), printer, printer server, large-screen display system and UPS.

With regard to the composition of the station-level monitoring system, the programmable logic controller (PLC) set inside the station environmental control room, electric control room and station control room (SCR) is used to collect the status signal of the field equipment and transmit it to the station level server and monitoring workstation via the network communication line. Afterwards, the monitoring personnel inside the station issue the control command via the workstation and the command is conveyed by the PLC to the field equipment for the completion.
